About Me
I Co-founded a successful photography Studio in Glasgow city centre in March 2007 called Shutterbug of which I sold my half of the company in April 2010 to allow me to go my own way creatively.
I went to Glasgow School of Art and studied Illustration but specialised in Animation(Stop Motion) this led onto an interest in photography and photoshop.
Left GSA 1998 . Kept up photography throughout all this but actually did a lot of work early on as a Muralist/Artist. Working on loads of interesting and rewarding projects:
In between all this have had a stint as a radio presenter for a local radio station that was called ClanFM (Entertainment, movie reviews etc) , won The Young Scot Award eons ago to and was sent to LA. Now I have a regular slot on the last Thursday of the month as the judge of photography with the program on STV called "The Hour".
I absolutely love what I do. I thrive on the way one creative project can lead to another completely different one. Weddings, Family and Baby portraits, Actor's head-shots, Band pictures, Model portfolios.......life`s better when it`s interesting!
The one thing that I feel is really important in anything I do however is that the end result is what my customers wanted or better than they imagined. If you have a specific look or feel that you want that`s great! Or , if you want to discuss and bounce ideas around that's great too. I can create pretty much any image you can imagine as I have extensive Photoshop skills. Airbrushing, Retouching and Recontouring services available too, as well as Graphic design and Brand/Logo design.
