What is a portrait?

Here, I've tried to sub-divide into different categories & uses.

Generally it would involve the subject being a person/persons lol;  but It could be literally anything.

• A still life with symbols & objects emblematic of a life lived would stand as a portrait.
• This kind of scene-setting & placement of objects can be amazing as a backdrop.
• Family - formal and informal : We often see ourselves in our friends and family :)
• A Pet
• A Hobby
• A Sport
• A Job
• A Place
• Anything really...

Using setting, lighting and post-prod... alongside a dash of dialogue and brainstorming.
